These Terms are an agreement between Revealio Quantlab Private Limited (CIN U62099TZ2026PTC038350), 48 Subramaniyam Street, Cheran Nagar, Modachur, Gobichettipalayam, Erode District, Tamil Nadu 638476, India ("we", "us"), and the business that creates a forbuilders company account ("Customer") and each person who uses the Service under that account ("User"). They are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and need no physical or digital signature. By creating an account or using forbuilders you agree to these Terms and confirm you have read our Privacy Policy. If you accept on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
1. The Service
forbuilders is a business tool for construction companies to manage projects, money records, attendance, materials, purchasing, subcontract work, BOQ, reports, approvals and backups. It is provided as a web application that can be installed on phones and computers. Features may change over time; we will not materially reduce core features of a paid plan during its term without notice.
2. Accounts and roles
- The person who creates the company account is its first Owner. Owners control who can access the company, their roles (Owner, Project Lead, Site In-charge, Finance, Observer), projects and backup settings.
- Keep sign-in details and devices secure. Owners must keep a working email address (and, when available, a mobile number) so one-time codes can reach them. You are responsible for activity under your account; tell us at once at contact@forbuilders.in if you suspect misuse.
- Users must be 18 or older and must use their real identity.
3. Customer data
- You own your data. Everything your company enters or uploads ("Customer Data") belongs to the Customer. You give us a limited right to host, process, back up and display it only to provide and secure the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Personal data of others. When you enter details of workers, clients, vendors or others, the Customer is the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023: it must have a lawful basis (for example notice and consent, or a legitimate use) and must handle their requests. We act as the Customer's Data Processor and will reasonably assist.
- Accuracy and statutory records. You are responsible for the accuracy of entries and for keeping any records the law requires (for example GST and tax records for the period the law sets). forbuilders calculations (GST splits, balances, wages, reports) are tools to help you, not tax, legal or accounting advice.
- Backups. We back up the database for disaster recovery. The optional Google Drive backup copies the data your Owner selects to the Owner's own Google account; Google's terms apply to that account.
- Export and deletion. Owners can download a complete export of the company's data at any time. When an Owner closes the company, Customer Data stays available to Owners for export (or to reopen) for 30 days and is then permanently deleted, except where the law requires us to keep it.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to host, display, upload, change, publish, send, store, update or share any information that:
- belongs to another person and to which you have no right;
- is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy (including bodily privacy), insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, relates to or encourages money laundering or gambling, or is otherwise against the law;
- is harmful to children;
- infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right;
- knowingly or intentionally deceives or misleads about its origin, or communicates information that is patently false or misleading;
- impersonates another person;
- threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states or public order, incites an offence, or insults another nation;
- contains software viruses or any other code designed to interrupt, destroy or limit any computer resource; or
- breaks any law in force.
You also must not: try to access other companies' data or bypass security, limits or one-time codes; probe, scan or load-test the Service without our written permission; reverse-engineer it except as the law allows; send spam; or resell the Service without our agreement. If you break these rules we may remove the information concerned and suspend or end access, telling you why where lawful and practical, and we will act on lawful orders from courts and authorities.
5. Fees and taxes
The Service is free during the early-access period. Before we introduce fees we will give Owners at least 30 days' notice of the plans and prices; nothing will be charged without your agreement. Fees, once introduced, will be exclusive of GST and other taxes, which will be charged as the law requires.
6. Third-party services
Optional integrations (for example Google sign-in and Google Drive backup) are provided by third parties under their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, but we choose them carefully and limit the access they receive (for example, Google Drive access is limited to files the app creates or that you pick).
7. Availability and support
We aim for high availability, but during early access the Service is provided without a service-level guarantee. We will announce planned maintenance where practical. Support: contact@forbuilders.in.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time: Users can delete their account in Settings → Your data, and Owners can close the company in Settings. We may suspend or end access for a material breach of these Terms that is not fixed within 15 days of our notice (or at once where the law requires or to prevent serious harm). Clauses that by their nature should continue (data, liability, governing law) survive termination.
9. Warranties and disclaimers
We will provide the Service with reasonable skill and care. Otherwise, to the extent the law permits, the Service is provided "as is", without other warranties (including fitness for a particular purpose). Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under Indian law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law permits: (a) neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit or business; and (b) our total liability arising out of these Terms in any 12-month period is limited to the fees the Customer paid us in that period, or ₹5,000 if no fees were paid. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, or to fraud or wilful misconduct.
11. Indemnity
The Customer will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from Customer Data it had no right to process or from its breach of the law or of these Terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties will first try to settle any dispute in good faith within 30 days. If it is not settled, it will be finally resolved by arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Erode, Tamil Nadu, in English. Subject to this, the courts at Erode, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction.
13. Grievances and notices
Grievance Officer: Dinesh Kumar, grievance@forbuilders.in, 48 Subramaniyam Street, Cheran Nagar, Modachur, Gobichettipalayam, Erode District, Tamil Nadu 638476. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days. Notices to us: contact@forbuilders.in (subject "forbuilders — legal notice"). Notices to you: the Owner's account email.
14. Changes and general
We may update these Terms. We will tell Owners in the app or by email at least 15 days before a material change takes effect. If a clause is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any order form are the entire agreement on this subject.
